Round 1 Recap 🚀

⛳ There were some expectedly low rounds on Thursday as Min Woo Lee and Pierceson Coody shot matching 10 under 62s at the Nicklaus Tournament Course to share the lead. Coody went nuclear on the back nine with seven consecutive birdies, and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is just one back at 9 under par. Scottie had a bogey-free 63 at La Quinta where he hit 17 of 18 greens and even chipping in on the one he missed. The scary part? Scottie hasn't even played the Nicklaus Tournament Course yet, the easiest of the three-course rotation.

Positive Equity Value Results - Through Round 1

Solid start to the week 💰

We're off to a strong start with our data-driven approach paying dividends in Round 1. Our models identified multiple positive expected value opportunities across both The American Express and the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, and the edges are showing through in the results. An 8-3-2 record with a 61.5% hit rate is exactly what we're targeting. We're finding spots where the odds don't fully reflect a player's true probability of winning.

The +43% ROI from yesterday demonstrates why we focus on course history, current form, and statistical modeling rather than just backing favorites. Scottie Scheffler over Sam Burns was our highest conviction play. Not every bet hits, but when you're finding genuine edges in the market, the long-term math works in your favor.
